School Committees

In the 2025/26 academic session we launched our new Ethos Committees. When we are planning the curriculum ( across all stages), we consider 4 contexts for learning, these include opportunities for:

  1. Discrete subjects – e.g. English, physics, music etc
  2. Interdisciplinary Learning – How we can bring subjects together in different contexts e.g. through specific projects
  3. Opportunities for achievement – including our Breadalbane Guarantee
  4. Contributing to the Ethos and Life of the school – This includes taking part in decision making, leading others, contributing as role models, being of service to others and upholding the school values.

Investing in the Ethos and Life of our school promotes a sense of Belonging. With so many groups to choose from, there are great opportunities to mix with others across stages, including P6 and P7 to develop the skills listed above.
