The National Progression Awards in Photography will develop knowledge and understanding in practical photography. The Awards are aimed at those who want to explore their interest in photography and perhaps take it to a more advanced level. |

Each of the four units are internally marked against national Standards. There are no written question paper element to this course or external examinations. Assessment in ongoing throughout the year with specific deadlines to ensure steady progress through the practical, hands-on units of work. |
| What are the homework and independent study requirements for this course?
Homework will be linked to coursework and will be focused on supporting timely completion of each of the mandatory four units. Research tasks as well as technical and creative photographic experimentation will be included within these tasks to support independent progression. |
