Registration Services

Your local registration office covers a wide area within highland Perthshire – from Blair Atholl, Pitlochry and Dunkeld heading West to Lawers, Kenmore, Fortingall and Glenlyon, the Aberfeldy Registrar is here to support our local community. We offer the full registration services for Births, Deaths, Marriages and Civil Partnerships.  There are two ceremonies rooms available; one smaller suitable for a more intimate ceremony and the other larger room for a wider gathering of family and friends.

Family research can also be carried out remotely as we have access to all records in Scotland from when registration became statutory in 1855 to the present day.  These records, apart from Births, Deaths and marriages include census results.

Our friendly team of Marriage Officers can also conduct bespoke ceremonies outwith the office, in a venue of your choice, which range from hotels, country houses and castles to more exclusive holiday properties or indeed your own home and as well as Marriages and Civil Partnerships include naming ceremonies and renewal of vows
