Update: 15th March 2021
Our primary department is now fully reopened and we are delighted to have all our young people back to learning in person.
In addition to targeted senior phase pupils who have been attending for the last few weeks, all S1-6 secondary pupils will now experience some face-to-face learning in the period up to the Easter holidays. The school will also maintain its secondary ‘hub’ provision, as well as a remote learning offer for S1-6 pupils. You will find details of arrangements for secondary in my letter to parents of 11th March which is accessible through the letters tile at the bottom of the homepage.
Parents should not hesitate to get in touch with the school at Breadalbane@pkc.gov.uk if they have any questions whatsoever.
A full reopening in April will depend on our ability to sustain safely the current arrangement and I would therefore urge all parents to support the school by encouraging pupils to comply with infection control measures at all times.
Test and Protect is Scotland’s way of putting into practice the test, trace, isolate, support strategy.
It will prevent the spread of coronavirus in the community by:
- identifying cases of coronavirus through testing
- tracing the people who may have become infected by spending time in close contact with them
- supporting those close contacts to self-isolate, so that if they have the disease they are less likely transmit it to others
