Failure to attend school regularly can have a major impact on young people’s education, attainment and future opportunities. Parents are encouraged to ensure their children attend school daily.
In the event of an absence, parents are expected to contact the school office on the first day of the absence before 9am. If the school have received no notification of absence, the Business Support Team will contact parents to confirm the reason and expected date of return. You can inform the school of a pupil absence by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phoning 01887 822300. If the school has not been contacted, pupils should provide a note explaining their non-attendance upon their return.
